I wonder how many gold members don’t realize their attempts to communicate with standard members are entirely wasted. That is because standard members: Cannot view profiles Cannot read or reply to your mail messages Cannot reply to your IM messages Cannot reply in chat rooms While for some of those things you can expend points to do them, like having a conversation in IM, but the point cost is so ridiculously high that it is cheaper to buy a membership than the points. They want the standard members because it bulks up the numbers of the profiles on here, but even if you are paying for membership you can’t interact with them. Are you really getting your money’s worth?
