It's been a while since I've been in the community. I went from a friendly, robust, welcoming community in Florida to a polite and protective one in Vegas, to an ugly and hostile one in Alabama. I had to walk away from that. I moved into the PNW in Sumner '22, about 6 months from the time of writing, and I haven't really explored my new surroundings as much as I'd like. I'm still getting used to the winter. If we've just met you might describe me as quiet, and polite. But once you get to know me you'll discover that's not me at all. I'm vocal, smart, witty, sharp, sarcastic and sometimes goofy, and I can't take a decent selfie to save my life. I have a good steady 9 to 5 job that I enjoy. I live alone with my 2 dogs. My happy place is on the motorcycle, finding curvy mountain roads and beautiful scenery. I have my woodshop where I like to putter about and make things. Socially, I can find joy, fun, and entertainment in just about anything; from the Symphony to a blues club, from a museum to the flea market, from a nice dinner out to a quiet night in. Sexually, Stranger sex or a one night stand isn't what I want. We gotta get to know each other and be comfortable with each other 1st. Honestly, I'm not really looking for a connection right now. I'm hoping to find the kind of honest and welcoming community I had when I started this adventure. People I could call real friends.
